i wonder what that would be. i really do. but the moment i head home after this, i will just walk. take a look at the full moon, and the hazy night sky... maybe observe the trees. and smile. and think. and wonder.

and wonder... about the marvelous and the miracles.

:)

i am feeling restless since this morning. as if something will happen. hmm... i'm scared to think it is a good thing. but it feels like it. i won't be letting my hopes up though. the days will just float like any other. whatever happens will happen.

food and God.

even though it was quite a tiring weekend, the meals i had were probably one of the best ever i tasted.

it was more than just having the right amount of seasoning and spices, or having a creative presentation. though, definitely it was all there.

it was Manong Leo. always dressed in his blue apron, this bespectacled jolly man was the one who served our meals for the weekend. everytime he prepared the food, there was always a smile on his face. you can see how carefully and lovingly he fixed everything up. even while cleaning up our leftovers, it was clear how much he loved what he was doing. Manong Leo was whistling this happy tune :)

when we were asked to eat at the EAPI instead, he prepared a special table for us. the table he chose for us was under the ceiling fan. he even posted a reserved sign to make sure none of the other guests use it. a special fruit bowl was placed for us, too. different from those of the others (who were already residents of EAPI).

those three days of eating his meal gave me an idea how God would have served me if i came to his house asking for food. i would be treated so wonderfully, as if i were a king.

and that was the reason why it tasted so delicious. it nourished more than just my body. it nourished my soul.

God bless him. :)

time

i hope i can find time to log in my guimaras experience. it was certainly one of the more exciting trips i have been to. especially since i had the chance to see and touch pawikans. and the boat got inside one of the caves of the island.

finally, one of my dream areas, i have been able to go to. :)

anyways... i have it all down on my travel notebook.

whataweekend!

finally, i got to witness deliberations of the volunteers and areas. quite interesting, really.

i feel sad though because one of the volunteers i was lobbying for was not approved. :(
all the areas i want accepted got in though, except some of them were in the lower rung. we might not have enough volunteers.

but certainly, there lies so much responsibility on me and my Program Officer.

i can't wait for matching, though.

simply hilarious

rat race must be one of the most hilarious comedies i have ever seen. without having to be too tasteless. grabe, kinabag ako sa kakatawa. that hot air balloon and cow soon just got me laughing so hard. and the monster truck. and the barbie museum. and the heart. and i could go on and on.

plus, the special appearance of the way too cool smash mouth.

with rowan atkinson, whoopi goldberg, cuba gooding, seth green and the rest of the cast there... how could you not laugh.
plus a very conscientious way to resolve the entire thing.

am i giving away too much? hehehe!

do watch it!!!
