Post-Christmas Hodge-Podge
I used the gift cheque my brother gave me for a beauty binge. I bought firming lotion, shower gel, eye gel and moisturizing soap. At least I can try to be kikay in the shower. It's so nice to take hot baths with the works. So soooothing. And I can actually feel my skin tingle and glow. Yummy, yummy feeling. Too bad there ain't anyone to appreciate it. *sinisternaughtygrin*

Can't wait to use the mini flashlight that my brother gave me. I won't be needing it in Baguio. Neither will I need it for my Bulacan trip. Oh well... I shall find use for it soon.

Watched "Bagong Buwan" with R and her boy yesterday. It was good, but there was something missing I can't point out. Anyways... can i keep Carlo? I'm waiting for that kid!

Somebody gave me a stuffed bear. I just had to name it Legolas. Though I still call him Bear. Legolas is such a long name to say.
I do so badly want to steal those Legolas posters around G4. Anyone who can find a Legolas shirt or something with Legolas in it, pleaaase get it for me. If I can afford it, though.
I am so in-loooooove with that elf. My heart is pounding as I say that. Too bad he's an archer. But well, those tights are... well, tight. Yummy.
He's probably 200 or so years old. But hey! I don't care for a 170-year age difference.

I also watched "Hubog" because "Tatarin" had such a long line. The ticket-seller asked me how old I was. Maybe those beauty stuff do work. Hehehe! And my brother's friend asked me what year I am in college. Yeah! But it can be such a difficult asset to have when I'm talking to the volunteer's supervisor.
By the way, am not recommending Hubog. Though it is better than most.

Missing him still.
But I am soooo confused.

CHRISTMAS
After opening the gifts that I have already opened before, there was not much to do after eating Noche Buena. But I had to make sure that I think about this whole Christmas business and what it meand to me. So I wrote on my journal, just to get some thoughts rolling along. Well, I did come up with something but still there isn't much Joy in my heart yet. But these thoughts would be a good start.
Every 25th of December we celebrate the joyous birth of the Christ Child. He who is God has come down to become one with His men to love us. And what does that really mean.
(1) Jesus is the product of man's strong faith in God.
(2) Jesus is God's promise fulfilled.
(3) Jesus is God's love embodied.
That's about as simple yet as beautiful Christmas can get. I hope I can start feeling the beauty of these realizations.

We visited dad in the cemetery this afternoon. Good. I liked the cool wind. Kinda lets you get away from all the city Christmas bustle.

GUSH! GUSH!
oh my god (in disbelief). that was my reaction after watching "the lord of the rings." as in, it's sooooo goooood! not like harry potter which copied the book right down to the very last T, "the lord of the rings" had such an amazing translation of the book into the movie. and the special effects aren't as obvious as harry's. plus the cinematography was spectacular! makes me want to check out new zealand. i didn't even notice that we have been watching the movie for three hours already. i forgot that i only had five hours sleep for the past 48 hours and that i was supposed to be sleepy. i forgot that the stupid organizers made the people wait for four hours to watch the film. i just can't wait to watch it again on the regular showing!
People! This movie has to be seen on THX! It's so much worth the money you pay.
And it just made me more in love with elves... and with Legolas (R's Lord of the Rings character.) He is such an... Elf...
Gush! Gush! Gush! Can't wait till December 2002 for "Two Towers."

Just a few more hours until Christmas. Still can't feel it. Solitude and silence is the best solution to this.
